Pina Bausch Cities Series 2012 - Nur Du

On Saturday 9 June went to see Pina Bausch Company perform 'Nur Du' at the Barbican Theatre. It was fantasic, funny and a little gaga. Loved the physicality and the Hollyweird references (giant blue whale prop, what was that all about?).

I reccomend Wim Wenders 3D movie about this company that was released last year.

I can't believe it's been 3 years since Pina Bausch passed away! I used to watch all her shows and I got enthralled by her creative ideas. Someone should create a memorial page for her on Evertalk within Facebook. https://apps.facebook.com/evertalk

I was a huge fan of Pina Bausch works and can still remember her walking on stage after every show to link arms and stand modestly at the centre of the company she had built. Thanks for the heads up on the Evertalk page Christina. I definitely miss the late great Pina Bausch.
